No signal except those required by ANSI should be used
unconditionally.  For other signals, a portable code should do this:

  #include <signal.h>
  .
  .
  .
  #ifdef SIGCONT
  ... code that uses SIGCONT ...
  #endif

In other words, I think this is a bug in Sh-utils.  Please report that
to the maintainer.
