A lot of people don't realize that when you specify the "noems" option
on emm386, you are also disabling VCPI, which is an extension to EMS.
Go32 requires VCPI whenever the CPU is not in real mode.  If you are
using DOS 5.0 and go32 complains that the CPU is in V86 mode and not
real mode, try removing the "noems" switch on emm386.sys.
