Subject: | paging with 2M of memory |
>In addition on a Compaq 366/20e with only 2Mbytes of memory this happens regardless cc1/cc1plus will eat up this memory and start paging like mad. I've found that I need about 5M of *available* memory to keep gcc from paging when compiling itself with -O2. DJ dj AT ctron DOT com Life is a banana.
