ygmake didn't solve the problem for me either, both it and MAKE358 hang my
machine. I have tried both of them on another system, running a different DOS
version and with different disk partitions and memory and got the same
problems so I don't believe it's a problem with my host system.
It's a shame there doesn't seem to be a reliable port, I use gmake to build my
code on UNIX boxes but have to have a separate makefile for compiling under
DOS.
If anyone thinks they have a reliable version or knows what's going on with
the ones we have, I'm sure everyone would be interested.
