Oh, yeah. That problem. You see, the "make.exe" that comes with Borland
C++ 3.x is a protected mode program. It takes the memory away from gcc
and so gcc page-thrashes 'cause it's running with almost no core to use.
Use "maker.exe" instead (the 'r' stands for "real mode") and you'll be
happy again.
