Subject: GO32 cold reboots 486/40

A 486DX 40MHz w/ 8M ram running MSDOS 5.0 does a cold reboot when
trying to execute a binary image file with go32 & debug32. The
identical configuraation runs well on similar 486 with a 25 MHz
clock speed. I've tried literally dozens of variations on the
GO32 environment variable. I've also tried replacing the both
the binary image file and the djgpp executables with fresh
verions - no diiference.

The fact that the machine reboots as soon as the go32 command
line is issued makes it hard to diagnose what's going on.
Has anything similar to this happened when you've used go32?
Please let me know if you have an idea on how to fix this-
I'm getting desparate!

Thanks,

Ben
