For DOS, one option would be GNU Emacs 19.28. This is GNU Emacs 19.28
ported to DOS. Context hilighting seems to work fine. It is
available from ftp://oak.oakland.edu/SimTel/msdos/gnuish/emx1928b.zip and
emx1928l.zip. You need both zips to run it. For web browsers, the
URL is http://www.acs.oakland.edu/oak.html
For Windows, on option would be Win-Emacs 1.35. This is based on
Lucid GNU Emacs 19.6 (now called XEmacs). You can get it from
ftp://ftp.netcom.com/pub/pearl. This is a fully functional demo
version. The non-demo version is not free.
