I believe I've seen it mentioned here that the emacs language modes can provide some colors to highlight various structures. Am I misremembering this? I have the DOS version of emacs 19.30 and no colors appear - is there something I have to do to turn this on, or is it supposed to appear on its own (implying that my distribution is deficient)? I quick scan (too quick?) of the FAQ didn't seem to contain any pointers.
