Greetings,
I'm about to start porting a rather large (several hundred K of code)
program from OS/2's gcc to DOS's DJGPP, for several very obscure reasons
you don't need to know[1] :)
The program makes extensive use of the gcc window manager functions in
<sys/winmgr.h>, a whole stack of functions beginning with wm_... for
creating text windows on the screen, and wm_printf() for writing to a
specific window. Unfortunately DJGPP doesn't seem to have a similar
set of functions.
I'm only using them very simply, the program has an IRC-alike interface
so I created a main window for most of the data, and a secondary window
at the bottom of the screen where input keystrokes get echoed.
Can somebody suggest a suitable alternative?
Many thanks,
gossamer
[1] If you really want to know, email me, it's marginally humerous :)
