> Can this be? Is manipulating 32bit data _REALLY_ faster then 8bit? On the pentium, definately. The Pentium was designed from day 1 to run faster in 32 bit protected mode than in 16 bit prot/real mode. You really need to visit http://www.x86.org (I think I posted com before, oh well, its one of these... :) they have _masses_ of information you need to get. Leathal.
