The Mac end-of-line sequence is a single CR.

Note that it's important to point out that \n is _always_ a LF in a C
program.  It's only when you're dealing with text streams that the
translation is done -- and it's done automatically, so you don't have to
worry.

Generally if you're dealing with C and have to worry about the end-of-line
convention, you're not using things as they're meant to be used.
