There are two things I found with mkisofs:
1. The version I had opened the files in text mode; this may have
been fixed in a later version.
2. djgpp 2.00 didn't return "." and ".." entries for readdir("/"),
and mkisofs expected them. 2.01 should work OK, but it's
safer to run mkisofs against a subdirectory until it's proven
that mkisofs with 2.01 works correctly.
I was using mkisofs 1.01, so this was a while ago.
