You're correct. DJGPP is the MS-DOS port of the GNU C/C++ compiler GCC. It features (among other things) complete 32-bit code generation in a flat protected mode environment (using DPMI). It has a host of satellite programs that make it a premium DOS development system. Best of all, it's FREE.
