I agree 80% with Eli, if you want a full configurable thing go for Emacs, you
can use it for practically anything (including as C/C++ program editor ;-).
I guess that RHIDE needs some additions but this will take some time, there
are things with more priority.
There are another reasons to avoid a full configurable thing:
1) The size, just take a look to the full Emacs package, all have a price ...
2) Speed, here I'm not talking about Emacs because I don't use it, but I'm the
author of the RHIDE editor and for my code more flexible means less speed.
3) Time: I don't know how many people made Emacs (or a similar thing) but I
guess that not jut a couple of persons in 1 year ;-)
Don't worry Daniel, I guess that some of the things that you say will be
included in RHIDE.
