IMHO, GNU pascal is the best pascal compiler available, it is 80%
compatible with Borland syntax (but it was not the goal to be 100%
compatible due to alot of the routines were DOS orientated) You are
right about the asm syntax, it uses AT&T syntax. You can find out

The official GNU Pascal homepage or you can get it at any simtel
mirror etc. as: gpp2721.zip.
