I was wondering if there was a fast way to do gouraud shading using the functions built into allegro. I've currently got a 3D flat shading engine based upon allegro. I'd like to modify this to do gouraud shading. Currently I draw a scanline using hline() so I would envisage a simple modification would be to replace the call to hline() with one that draws a line by interpolating between the colors of the line edges. I'm aware of the different drawing modes, do these affect hline()? Anyone out there who can help? BTW I'd appreciate a decription of the finer points of the drawing elements of allegro. Thanks. Alan.
