I just downloaded and extracted DJGPP on my Win95 machine and have been
trying to get it to compile a test program, but I'm getting the
following error:
C:\Documents>gcc hello.c -o hello
gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec `as': No such file or
directory (ENOENT)
The contents of my AUTOEXEC.BAT file are:
rem - By Windows Setup - MSCDEX.EXE /D:OEMCD001 /L:D
SET MGA=C:\UTILITY\MGA\SETUP\
set DJGPP=C:/DJGPP/DJGPP.ENV
set PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;C:\EMACS\BIN
And I have also set +LFN=Y in the DJGPP.ENV file.
Does anyone know what might be up? Since it says installation problem,
I'm going to try re-installing, but you might save me a bunch of time.
