Please, Help to fix my problem with DJGPP ! It refuses to work on my =
computer.
Compiler crashes during compilation of the basic program Hello.cc with =
the message :
gcc.exe : installation problem, cannot exec 'cpp' : no such file or =
directory (ENOENT). The problem is described in FAQ. Nevertheless it =
doesn't help.
Obviously different parts of the DJGPP in my computer cannot find each =
other.=20
My knowledges of MSDOS, Unix and system programming are quite limited =
and I cannot fix the problem myself.
I've installed the DJGPP following all the instructions of the web site =
www.delorie.com
I read all files as recommended i.e ReadMe1st, FAQ, Problems.txt etc.=20
I'm using windows98 on my system (Pentium II -300Mhz MMX, 64M, 4.5GB =
hard dirve).
I used WinZip programm to unzip the files.=20
When I'm trying to work with Rhide, it gives me next message :=20
Compiling C:\Djgpp\Rhide14b\bin\hello.cc. Bad command or file name. No =
errors.
Here is information concerning my further attempts to compile a basic =
C++ program Hello.cc :=20
1. go32-v2 program output :
32/v2 version 2.0 built Nov 15 1998 14:36:43
age: go32 coff-image [args]
name this to go32.exe only if you need a go32 that can run v2 binaries =
as
ell as v1 binaries (old makefiles). Put ahead of the old go32 in your =
PATH
ut do not delete your old go32 - leave it in the PATH after this one.
t GO32_V2_DEBUG=3Dy in the environment to get verbose output.
