I sent the question because my programs produce HP-GL (and 
other) graphics output.

The users with not WIN printers can use hp2xx program to 
obtain paper copies of results.

But WIN printers disables all direct output as hp2xx, 
printgl, and similar programs. Only Windows (@#@%) printer 
spool are allowed with WIN printers, and only Windows 
(@#@%) version of printgl can print HP-GL files. This 
program is not free. 

As result of all my tests: _don't buy WIN printers!!_
