There is also dxe2, slightly more recent.

And the info documents for djgpp-2.04-beta also mention dxe3. I've 
attempted to use it to buid xgawk-3.1.5 with extensions (on Windows XP 
SP2), with no success.

Could anybody confirm if dxe3 works in djgpp beta? Is there any working 
sample code to look at?
