I ran fdisk from prompt, I could create logical C: drive and access it but =
couldn't format it; at ending the particion process it asked me if wanted t=
o format the drive, I entered yes and it said the format failed; then I tri=
ed FORMAT C: and command doesn't exist; I suposse that's why MKDIR failed a=
t C:.=20
Anyway I ran my game from the CD and it's still slow. I'll try changing to =
the protected mode bank switching that Rod Pemberton helped me to fix.=20

By now it's just missing the matter of the disk format ... then I hope that=
=A0with linear framebuffer o pm bank switching my program runs fast

It's quite alright, I don't use DOS much anymore, but it's got a special
place in my heart, as does DJGPP, as it was my first C compiler.=20
1: Yes, the HD needs to be partitioned. It will probably be drive letter "C=
"
once partitioned. Then it needs to be formatted. See the previous link for
details.
2: I don't remember, but it probably is setup.exe or something on the boot
CD for FreeDOS.
3: Yes, once it is partitioned and formatted.
None of this is any different than how you would treat a real HD, save the
initial setup of the .VDI virtual hard drive file.

but for the VHD (Pablito.vdi) it doesn't appear C: nor any letter .... I
tried touching everything there but nothing
