Yes, of course.  I see it every time I build Emacs.  But it cannot
explain the crashes.  This means that the number of source lines with
debug info overflowed the COFF 64K limit, and so some source lines
will be unknown to GDB.  But it doesn't have any effect on the code
that is generated.
