Well, I did another play-through of the demo (still with rc5), but I couldn't reproduce it. IIRC, I was on Win64, h2.exe, 800x600, Crusader, average (2/4) difficulty, it just aborted when I went into one of the portals that took me back to the start of the hub (beginning). Probably obscure and not worth worrying about if it can't be reproduced.
