Hello,

I'd like to create two regions of copper (probably fills), and put them as close as possible to each other (design crammed, current high, so I want to use as much copper as possible). Essentially I want to separate a single region along a given line of complicated shape.

What is the proper way to do it?

The obvious solution would be a very thin (0.01mil) line along the desired boundary. I don't like it because I'm not sure what the line is going to become during fabricating (also DRC complains). Is there a better way? May be somehow "fix" the filled regions, and then remove the thin line?
