A colleague, who has been using Ruby for years,  has been closely
following Rust developments.  He hopes "in a year" he can start to use
it to do his Embedded System work.  Right now he says you have to
rebuild the compiler daily because of the daily breaking changes of
the language design changing.
He sees that as a good thing in the long term.  Get the problems
worked out now, so we are not stuck with them for decades like C.
I'll have to ask him what he thinks of Nimrod in comparison to Rust.
