OK, I'll try that.

Nope, that doesn't work for me.  Running 'pcb BOARD.pcb' is how
I've been invoking pcb all the time and I still find the file
choosers defaulting to 'Recently Used', which means I can't easily
get to the layout's own directory (which is also the current working
directory).
