http://www.brorson.com/gEDA/land_patterns_20070805.pdf

width = 240 mil
legnth = (1260-250) + 240 mil = 1250 mil

My pcb's (git head) report says:

PAD ID# 7;  Flags:"square,edge2"
FirstPoint(X,Y)  = (2125.00, 1225.00) mil; ID = 0.
SecondPoint(X,Y) = (2125.00, 2235.00) mil; ID = 0.
Width = 240.00 mil.  Length = 1250.00 mil.                <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Clearance width in polygons = 10.00 mil.
Solder mask = 260.00 mil x 1270.00 mil (gap = 10.00 mil).
Name = "".
It is owned by SMD element 0603N
  as pin number 1 and is on the component
side of the board.
