If it happens to be newbie-friendly, fine.  That just wasn't my
intent.  It was intended to be for, well, me - a power user who wants
an alternate interface.

Its other primary purpose is to make sure the GTK code doesn't
"contaminate" the core code, like gtk and Xaw did in the past.
