V2 now has everything needed completed to go to "beta".  I expect DJ will
release a beta sometime in the next few weeks, when we get some bug fixes
to him, infant permitting.  The time from beta to release will depend on how
long it takes to get a few remaining features done and all the known bugs out.

If you don't mind using a cross V1/V2 development environment, pick up
the alpha test and give it a try.
