Subject: SB_DJ2.ZIP

  This is to announce the Sound-Blaster(tm) Library for DJGPP 2.0.  This 
freeware library focuses on playing and mixing digitized samples as a 
background process.  
  This library provides functions for the following:

  * Sample-file loading.  Currently supported file-formats are raw (no header),
    .VOC (old-style), and .WAV.
  * Real-time sample mixing.  Up to 16 samples can be played simultaneously.
  * Sample queuing.  Up to 16 samples can be queued at a time; the library
    will empty the queue one sample at a time (FIFO style).

  Of course, all source-code is included in the package.  There is a 
documentation file (SB_LIB.DOC) and test program (SB_TEST.EXE) included.  This 
is the first beta release.
