I came across a real devil of a bug in the game I'm writing, not a stack trace thing but actually what appeared at first to be a solid lockup, only you could escape with ctrl-break and get a stack trace for symify... it was a lifesaver. Turns out I'd accidentally deleted the line that copies the back-screen buffer into video memory to make the thing actually *visible*... -- .*.
