Perhaps Gisle can send an e-mail to the maintainers asking for the addition of some switch to make it. But I think is much more easy to convert the spaces in the file to tabs. There are a text-utility for that (I don't remmember the name) and RHIDE (and SET Edit of course) have an option to convert spaces to tabs. Is dangerous in C code but normally works wonderfull in broken make files.
