I was surprised to heard this, since I haven't > received anything yet .... This surprises me as well! I've so far sent one mesage to the list and received email replies. However, I have not received any mail from the list server. (I did get the test message from Russ Nelson though ?!?!?) There seems to be something peculiar going on here ... Since I probably have missed the initial discussion I'm wondering if somebody has archived the messages? If so, I'm interested. BTW: Has anyone managed to run djgpp successfully in conjunction with Borland C++ 3.0. I use qemm to manage the memory. If, after entering bc, I exit to a spawned DOS shell there is no extended memory left. This, I guess, leaves go32 without much memory to swap from since it appears to swap indefinitely. (Reboot is necessary.) Maybe it is this that casues borland make 3.6 to fail with gcc. (It is not possible to see how much extended memory there are left when make runs.) Maybe Borland C++ offers some kind of switch that makes it leave some extended memory ... [Since I haven't received any messages I apologize if this is a repeat.]
