Date: 15 May 92 11:06 From: "(Michael Sperber)" Subject: MIT Scheme port, djgpp 1.06 usage, demacs problem Apparently-To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu Status: O RFC-822-HEADERS: Return-Path: <@CDC2.RRZN.UNI-HANNOVER.DE:ms AT informatik DOT uni-hannover DOT de> To: @CDC2:djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu ================== A while ago, I announced a port of MIT-Scheme 7.0. (Un)fortunately, the people at MIT sort of overtook me on this: They just announced a doMeSDOS port of CScheme 7.2, which will include a native code compiler for the 386. So I don't see any reason to continue work on my port. I'll post an announce here, however, as soon as it comes out. As to djgpp 1.06: It seems to me that the env var for the gcc 2.1 temp directory is TMPDIR, not TEMP like in the docs. Also: Could someone tell me what update and djtart are for? This is not exactly the right place to ask, but I assume a lot of the djgpp users use demacs also: In auto-fill-mode, demacs hyphenates before z's (!). I'm no elisp expert, but the problem seems to be with one of the skip-*-functions, which I can't find in the elisp sources, so it's probably primitive. Anybody else who encountered the problem? Patches? I'd appreciate any comments :-> Chipsy
