To: djgpp AT sun DOT soe DOT clarkson DOT edu I was attempting to port Nethack to MS DOS 5/DJGPP, and although I got it to compile I'm still faced with a lot of crud in msdos.c which makes the program crash. The current favorite place to crash is in the function which does a dos interrupt to get the free space in the current path. Is there anyone out there who either (1) knows of a better way to get the free space on a specified path, or (2) has had such a problem before? (The program has no problems whatsoever using interrupts to do things like read the keyboard and write to the display...) Keith (rohrer AT fncrd0 DOT fnal DOT gov)
