I had asked in the announcement not to post discussions on this topic;
I guess it wasn't obvious enough.  Clarkson is bound by the contracts
they sign for Internet usage.  They feel that the qd libraries *may*
violate those contracts, and are restricting access until they can
finish their investigation.  Since they pay for the Internet link,
they get to decide what's right and what's wrong, not everyone else.

As far as "them" being management types, I assure you they're not.
They're friends of mine who actually run the computers, and they're
quite concerned about losing their Internet connection.
