Subject: libtiff w/dj



I spent several hours Saturday trying to get Sam Leffler's libtiff
compiled, and finally got v2.2, to compile, and part worked right,
part didn't. So, I retreived the most recent (?) version, and it
was totally a failure. I think I tried almost every combination
of flags, and always got complaints. I'm sure it is doable, but
my brain dumped core, and I gave up. Has anyone succeeded, and if so, HOW?

btw, I was amused to see a message on this list with a signature
that included the line 'VAX + VMS 4 EVER'. All caps, of course. Can
we do something about it on moral grounds, perhaps ;-)
