After running demacs, Kermit is unable to make an Ethernet connection. Demacs does not immediately disable NCSA software, but once Kermit has failed to connect, NCSA programs won't work either. The only fix I have found is to reboot. Is anyone else using this combination of software, either successfully or unsuccessfully? Any suggestions on how to fix it? I suspect that the problem is due to demacs fiddling with the interrupt vector table, but bracketing demacs with MARK/RELEASE doesn't help.
