However, you should try simply substituting a recent version of GO32.EXE (avoid 1.08, it tromps on serial connections under DesqView, dunno if that causes other problems) for DEMACS.EXE that came with DEMACS. I am currently doing this under DesqView with no problems, using GO32.EXE v 1.09. More long term, I have been running DesqView/X ($200), the DV/X TCP/IP manager ($100), and FTP Software's PC/TCP ($72 at our local site-license price, dunno about real prices).
