   I'm terribly sorry to bother you, but I am looking for the binaries
   of GNU make for msdos.  According to the NEWS file in the 3.74 release
   of GNU you are the person to talk to.  

   The NEWS file said one could find the binaries at 
   oak.oakland.edu:pub/msdos/djgpp  When I ftp'd there, however, there
   was no such directory as pub/msdos/djgpp.  I also looked in the
   SimTel directories and could not find djgpp.  Could you please
   send me an updated pointer to location of GNU make for DOS?

The directories were rearranged a few months ago djgpp stuff is now under:

/SIMTEL/vendor/djgpp

(or something VERY close)
