Are you saying that it happens with all extern functions on ATOM processors?
I would think that is a linking or compile time issue. Try a different
compiler/linker. I know that is not optimal, but it may just be your tool
chain.

when I test the big program and the small program (program test) on
Celeron M 1.5 GHz , I have the same time execution but on ATOM 1.6 Ghz
I have a difference of  time execution 10 time longer!
