I tried building BRexx 2.1.9 on my aunts' WinXP (w/ 512 MB) computer with GCC 4.6.1, and it exhibited a weird Bash malloc failure, leading to a crash / reg dump at end of configure (but before any actual compiling). But when I changed "-Os" to "-O" inside the .BAT, then it worked fine and compiled appropriately. Then I tried again here locally under DOSEMU but still no success (still hangs). It could just be a memory limitation or whatever, but I suspect it's not. Or it could be a bug in Autoconf 2.66, who knows. But more likely it's a rare bug in DOSEMU. :-/ Suggestions or ideas welcome!
