This won't give me a way to ascend/descend to preset grid sizes by 
repeated strokes of the same accel key. I am all in favor for decent
default settings. I teach geda to students, who need to get their
project done. They are busy learning the bits and pieces of the 
application and electronics, too. Realistically, they can't be 
bothered to tweak config files.
