The problem is a clash between historical gEDA PCB key bindings and
GTK standard menu accelerators.
Alt-V has the same problem - "increase initial drilling hole" for gEDA
PCB, but pull down View menu for GTK.

This is a known problem, and cleaning up the GTK UI and accelerators
is on the to do list (according to launchpad issue 699638, anyway)

Launchpad issue 907088 documents the Alt-V problem.

I guess this issue is not present in the lesstif HID - can anyone
confirm or deny ?
