How about piping into Vern Buerg's LIST? Examples:
type foo.bar | list /s
or list /s <foo.bar
(These are contrived examples since if you already have file foo.bar, you
would just type 'list foo.bar'. The important thing is the /s option to tell
list to display redirected input instead of a file.)
