OOOPS! Sorry Stephen...
I forgot to say... NEWMAT is available on Simtel:

And, yes, it's public domain... My system is a 486DX33 VL-BUS, VGA Cirrus Logic
CL-5424 with VESA extensions, 8Mb RAM, about 200Mb of free disk space, running
DJGPP 1.11m5 since long time ago... BTW, I guess the problem is not in DJGPP,
but in the class definition...
