If I rename the real-mode gcc.exe to be called gcc-rm.exe, the loader (ld.exe) complains about crt0.o: file not found when I compile a program. crt0.o is of course where it should be, and if I rename real-mode gcc back to gcc.exe, all's well again. What gives?
