That's another thing you should sometimes do when compiling code which came from DOS-based compilers. Add the following to your compilation command line: .... -Dfar= -Dnear= -Dhuge= -DPASCAL= -DNEAR= -Dcdecl= and whatever other DOSsisms GCC barks about.
