Last I heard, there are two maintenance releases already against
version 1.12.  Try a better ftp() site, or search more diligently at
the one you're using.

By the way, with open source software being maintained in a consensual
anarchy, having everyone post in their fixes and enhancements is
exactly what we want to have happen.  This openness is why BSD 4.3 was
so superior a Unix to the contemporary SYSVr3.2; AT&T got all the
software skills it could convince management to afford, Berkeley got
all the software skills it could entice the global electronic village
to volunteer, a much larger quantity.
