I spent some time today trying to get gxx to emit inline fpu code with
no success. I keep getting 'call _fabs' when I really want an inline
fabs instruction!

Anyone know what magic invocation I need?

I've tried soft-float,ieee-fp and fancy-387 options (at work so this is
a bit vague!) in a variety of combinations...
